Since I've been using Premiere Elements 7, I've regularly had the program freeze or shut down. I've re-opened it after a while, and then the same thing would happen at different times, with various projects.? All my PRE7 creations are high-def, and I had the same problem, despite implementing all of Steve's tips regarding the settings for XP 32-bit with 4GB of RAM. My solution was to upgrade to the machine in my signature. I haven't had even one single crash since. My experience is that Win...

Re: AVCHD to DVD Best Method

As a follow-up... I used Steve's suggestion of exporting my AVCHD video to an AVI file (took 3 hours for 38 mins of video!) The resulting video quality leaves a little to be desired (very slight blur), but I can still use it and chalk it up to experience. Until I can obtain better computers for my students, we are reverting back to DV tape and SD video. P.S. Bob, I was unable to discover how to convert my videos with Image Mixer 3.5. All my clips were listed in the library, but I found no co...

After applying the transitions go to the properties panel for each photo and move the first keyframes to the left to start during the transition and move the ending keyframes to the right to continue moving while the next slide starts. If you have more than one keyframe, scale & position for example, lasso both and move. This is a pain to do for each slide, but the overall look is well worth it.

Fourth time was a charm of some kind because re-opening the file this time, the audio is back. My apologies for wasting your time... I don't know what happened.

Hello Johnny. Have a look here. Seems that you might need to upgrade your version of PSE if your camera has a minimum requirement for RAW v5.6 or higher. http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=40&platform=Windows

Hi Cheryl Actually sometimes I prefer an effect I do, if I do something accidental, rather than what I sent out to do, I like it better. BTW love your work, you do have good ideas. Thanks again BG Stuff happens on accident to me quite often. I start out to make one effect and end up with something I like better. If you like the film clutter do a google search and see if anything comes up free. And thanks for the compliment. :)
