Re: Mouse and Timeline

Thank you, Steve. My mouse is a Microsoft Laser Mouse 7000 and all my MS software is updated continuously. The mouse wheel behaves properly in MS applications (tilting moves the screen left or right, rolling moves it up or down and pressing on the wheel allows you to move the screen in any direction). When I tried to find the solution on my own in PRE8 I was directed to the keyboard preferences menu, but that does not seem to deal with the mouse. Again, many thanks for your help.

Thank you all, I found v8 to be pretty good in the beginning and have never tried 9, but am gratified to know 10 is the best, I appreciate all of the help. Thanks again.

Re: PE8 with Windows 7, or PE7?

Right now the only way is to go to eBay and take your chances. While 30 is a great price, I was able to order PrEl and PE 10 through the Muvipix site for $75. I haven't installed it yet, but I thought that was a great price. Take a look and see where the pricing is today. Version 10 is getting solid reviews from the users here. It made me update my Version 7. -Vernon

We produce new materials on a regular basis here and as Bob said, anything noted version 4 and above will work with Premiere Elements versions 4 through 10 . We do have materials on customizing DVD templates, the Learning Basic subscription will give you access to that for 2 months and costs $19.95 USD. With the Premiere Membership, $69.95 you get access to all of the templates, tutorials, Music, Graphics, training materials and everything else too :) Here is some of what is available http://...

Re: Differences Between Ver 8, 9 and 10

Here is our review of the new features in version 9. http://Muvipix.com/pe9.php And here is our review of the new features in version 10. http://Muvipix.com/pe10.php Whether or not these new features is worth the upgrade is up to you. But, for many people, version 8 was probably the most sluggish version Adobe ever produced. So, if nothing else, you'll get much better performance -- especially with hi-def video -- in version 10.

Re: Disc Menus

Try using one of the Generic menu templates in the General set. If that doesn't work, use one of our Muvipix generic menus. The generic menus shouldn't have any graphics except the background layer itself.
